NFL Has One Simone Biles Request From Jonathan Owens After Paris Olympics

In an unprecedented move earlier in the offseason, the Chicago Bears gave safety Jonathan Owens permission to skip training camp in order to support his wife, Simone Biles, in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

It's not every day that an NFL player is officially allowed to miss training camp, which is why Owens can count himself lucky that he was given the opportunity to watch Biles, the most decorated U.S. gymnast in Olympic history, compete in the Summer Games.

Now that Owens is back, however, the league is demanding one thing from the 29-year-old.

"@jowens needs to do a celebration flip this season in honor of @simonebiles🥇," read a post shared by the NFL on Instagram.

In the clip from the Bears' "Hard Knocks" episode, Owens revealed his plan to bust out the Biles salute if he gets a chance to celebrate during an NFL game. The league, however, wants to see more from Biles' better half.

Despite being an elite athlete, I seriously doubt that Owens, who signed with the Bears this offseason via free agency, is capable of doing a flip -- at least not in the way that his wife does so with such ease.

I guess we'll find out soon enough once the season begins.
