The Buffalo Bills would like to go about fixing all of the things that looked broken in last week's 33-6 loss against the Chicago Bears that opened up their preseason.

And the Pittsburgh Steelers are intent on not letting this happen in NFL Preseason Week 2.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who played two drives in the first quarter, seems unconcerned.

"I felt good with what we did early on," said Allen. "And you know, every game is something that we want to win. And today, we didn't do that, a lot to learn from again, it's preseason.

"I know we're not game planning for these games, but we got to be ready to go."

We don't know yet whether Allen and his Bills first-team will take another turn on Saturday night in Pittsburgh. Same with the Steelers, by the way, as they try to iron out some of their own issues after their sloppy opener.

Russell Wilson's turn at QB? More Justin Fields?

Both of these teams view themselves as AFC contenders, with maybe the big difference being the issue of stability at QB. It's easy for Buffalo to overlook some flaws in the preseason loss because ... well, they have Josh Allen, who can save a lot of butts with his MVP-level play once the regular season launches.

Allen stressed that there was no game-planning for the Bills last week ... which will surely be the case again on Saturday.

"We didn’t game plan at all for what they were going to do on defense," said Allen. "You know, we were just trying to trot out some of the runs that we've been working on and practicing, and I know we got a lot of different stunts, a lot of different pressures into those.

    "So it's all good work."

The Bills need that. And so do the Steelers.
