Nebraska volleyball great and current assistant coach Jordan Larson brought home more than just a medal from the Paris Olympics. She also suffered an injury.

Larson was one of three former Huskers to compete with Team USA’s women’s volleyball team at the Olympics, which ended this past weekend with the Americans winning silver .

However, after the final match, Larson says she and one of her teammates were hurt when their Uber driver crashed into a pole.

“Things definitely could’ve been worse so we’re grateful for that,” Larson said in a video posted to social media on Tuesday, saying she wanted to get out ahead of it since she’ll return to campus this week.

“I did leave with a little scar here,” Larson said, pointing next to her right eye, “but all in all, feeling pretty good and just really grateful.”

Larson also thanked everyone for their support and kind messages in recent days and said she’s excited to rejoin the Huskers.

Her teammate, Micha Hancock, seemed to have gotten the worst of it, according to her social media, sporting a black eye with a scar below it.
