The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a trifecta of talented running backs on the roster. Rachaad White is the incumbent starter but rookie Bucky Irving and second-year back Sean Tucker are making a statement in the preseason.

In a 17-14 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, Tucker Ran the ball 10 times for 68 yards. A 6.8 yard per rush average is going to get some attention from coaches on the sideline.

“It felt good, just to be back out there in a game – running the ball, doing what I love to do," Tucker said. "I feel like it’s just been a long process, but I’m just sticking to it and always being ready for the opportunity.”

Tucker made the most of his carries and was excited to get the experience.

“There’s a big difference from college to the pros,” Tucker continued. “The more experience you get in this league and at this level, everything starts to settle down and becomes slower. It allows me to be able to perform better.”

A big 26-yard run on 3rd and 2 setup a field goal that was ultimately the difference in the game.

The Buccaneers stay in the state of Florida this week as they travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars in Week 2 of the preseason. Tucker will get more opportunities to show his skills and potentially win a spot on the 53-man roster as cut down day approaches.
