Caitlin Clark's economic influence continues to place the WNBA in unprecedented territory. According to ESPN, the league is returning the favor to the Indiana Fever. According to ESPN's Alexa Philippou , Indianapolis will host the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game.

The league is set to announce the news "later this week," according to ESPN. The past three hosts of the WNBA All-Star games occurred in larger markets. However, with the increased interest thanks to Clark and Angel Reese, the midwestern region is a basketball haven.

Indianapolis has never hosted a WNBA All-Star game, although it did have the pleasure of anchoring the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend.

An excerpt from Philippou's report: "Clark, who has been paired with fellow former No. 1 pick Aliyah Boston and No. 2 pick NaLyssa Smith, form an exciting young core in Indianapolis that's prompted massive attendance and viewership numbers: The Fever lead the league in attendance for both home and away games and have seen a 265% jump in attendance from last season."

Aside from New York, Indiana is filled with basketball talent and fan support, which makes it possible to hold events in large venues. Furthermore, Clark's inception into the WNBA spiked the numbers. Since Clark entered the league, multiple games have received larger venues to meet the increased demand for fan support.

Look for Clark and Reese to headline the 2025 WNBA All-Star game as the two lead the league's next generation of talent.

The Fever play their first game since the 2024 All-Star break on Friday against the Phoenix Mercury.
