Anthony Edwards Makes Big Announcement With Shoe Company After Paris Olympics

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards was one of Team USA's most productive players in their gold medal run at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Averaging 12.8 points, Edwards was fourth on the team in that category, trailing only Steph Curry, LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

Edwards was a fixture in Steve Kerr's rotation that got tighter as the tournament went on, tallying the sixth-most minutes (98) on Team USA. It was also a very efficient summer for Edwards, who converted 58.0 percent of his field goal attempts.

Just 23 years old, this was the first of potentially several appearances at the Olympics for Edwards.

Following his Olympic gold medal, Edwards made a big announcement with adidas that a special edition of his Anthony Edwards 1 Low sneakers had been released.

"Best in the World," adidas wrote on X. "The Night Indigo Anthony Edwards 1 Low is available now on adidas.com in the US and at the adidas Home of Sport in Paris."

Edwards shared several closeup pictures of this shoe on his Instagram story, and it includes a lot of details specific to Team USA.

One of the NBA's biggest young stars on the court, Edwards is making moves off the court as well.
