To say that Team USA dominated in the 2024 Paris Olympics would be an understatement. In the end, it was the United States that came out on top again with a total of 126 medals in the Summer Games. Their closest competitor, China, finished with 91.

Simone Biles, the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history, played her part in the tally by bagging no less than four medals in Paris. Likewise, swimmers Katie Ledecky, Gretchen Walsh, and Regan Smith all took home four apiece as well.

The big winner, though, was swimmer Torri Huske whose five medals were the most of any Team USA athlete in the 2024 Olympics.

Notice a trend here? That's right. The women of Team USA absolutely blew away the competition. In fact, the 67 medals won by American female athletes represent the most out of any country in the world -- and it's not even close.

Biles just had to flex this fact on her Instagram page using one word.

    "aayyyeeeeeee đŸ€Ș ," she wrote.

As Biles' post pointed out, the American ladies' 67 medals would rank third overall in the final country tally behind only the USA and China. The women of Team USA won a whopping 22 more medals than Japan, who are currently third overall.

    Talk about utter dominance, right?
