Steph Curry's Iconic Celebration Becomes A Hit At NFL Camp

Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Steph Curry has one of the most iconic celebrations in basketball. Even athletes of other sports have caught the ‘'Night Night' fever.

Take for example the Green Bay Packers, who had some of their players copying Curry’s famous celly at training camp, as noted by Matt Schneidman of The Athletic .

“Steph Curry’s ‘go to sleep’ celebration made its way to Ray Nitschke Field,” Schneidman wrote.

“After [Dontayvion] Wicks beat [Corey] Ballentine during a red zone drill for a touchdown catch, he ‘slept’ on the ball and a couple of other offensive players joined him in taking a power nap (while walking, so I guess it wasn’t much of a power nap),” added Schneidman.

Curry has been doing the celebration for some time now, but it got even more popular after pulling it off on a global stage, particularly when he delivered in the clutch during Team USA’s gold medal game at the 2024 Paris Olympics against France.

As for the Packers, they are hoping to put another team to sleep in the preseason, as they will take on the Denver Broncos on the road this coming Sunday. They are 1-0 in the preseason after beating the Cleveland Browns last Saturday.
