Robert Griffin III is no longer at ESPN, and he's not shy about letting the fans know about it.

The decision was made Thursday for the network to cut ties with Griffin and "Sunday NFL Countdown" host Samantha Ponder due to financial reasons, sources told The Athletic .

Griffin has yet to provide a formal response, but his comical post on X was more than enough for now.

He reacted with a famous clip from Ice Cube's 1995 film 'Friday' to numb his emotions, leaving his followers with some laughs and supportive comments.

ESPN is no stranger to making cuts within their company toward the end of their fiscal year. In June 2023, they announced similar news when prominent members such as Jalen Rose, Jeff Van Gundy, Mark Jackson and numerous others were laid off.

Griffin had two years remaining on his contract at ESPN.

The former Washington Commanders QB will likely have jobs knocking at his door soon, so the laughs seem appropriate.
