The Philadelphia Phillies (70-50) reached 70 wins on the season with their monumental win on Wednesday night. They now look to build on that and keep the train rolling on Thursday behind their ace.

On the mound for the Phillies on Thursday will be Zack Wheeler (11-5, 2.78 ERA). In his last start, he allowed two earned runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out eight in six innings.

This will be Wheeler's second start against the Washington Nationals (55-66) this season. In his first, he allowed two earned runs on three hits and three walks while striking out six in 7 1/3 innings.

Here is how the Phillies will line up on Thursday:

    1.) DH Kyle Schwarber
    2.) SS Trea Turner
    3.) 1B Bryce Harper
    4.) 3B Alec Bohm
    5.) RF Nick Castellanos
    6.) C J.T. Realmuto
    7.) 2B Bryson Stott
    8.) LF Weston Wilson
    9.) CF Johan Rojas

    SP Zack Wheeler

The Nationals will counter with rookie Mitchell Parker (6-6, 3.83 ERA). In his last start, he allowed no earned runs on eight hits and no walks while striking out five in 6 1/3 innings. This will be his first start against the Phillies.

Parker's repertoire includes a four-seam fastball, curveball, splitter, and slider. Parker relies on his four-seam fastball heavily throwing it 49.5 percent of the time but turns to his other offerings in put-away situations.

Here is how the Nationals will line up on Thursday:

    1.) SS CJ Abrams
    2.) DH Juan Yepez
    3.) LF James Wood
    4.) 1B Andres Chaparro
    5.) 2B Luis Garcia Jr.
    6.) C Keibert Ruiz
    7.) RF Alex Call
    8.) 3B Jose Tena
    9.) CF Jacob Young

    SP Mitchell Parker

The first pitch for Thursday's game is scheduled for 6:40 PM EST. The game will be broadcast on NBC Sports Philadelphia and MASN 2.
