WNBA legend Sue Bird recently commented on a post explaining Caitlin Clark's influence on the Indiana Fever.

The "Boardroom" reported on Clark and the Fever's mid-season preview, sharing some information on the boosted numbers in Indiana.

Since Caitlin Clark arrived at the Indiana Fever, the franchise has seen a +1,193% increase in jersey sales, +264.6% in ticket sales, and a +225% boost in corporate partnership, to name a few.

While these are incredible numbers for the Fever, Bird and Clark are focused on the +150% Freddy appearances.

Freddy Fever has been Indiana's mascot since 2000. His popularity has skyrocketed from a fan perspective and even from current and former players.

Bird commented on the increased viewership of Freddy while tagging Caitlin Clark on social media.

"Freddy's price is not yesterday's price!!" Bird said.

Clark then responded to Bird, agreeing with her take on Freddy Fever.

"Freddy is in high demand," Clark said.

While Bird and Clark were jokingly sending comments about Freddy Fever, it's clear that the rookie's impact in Indiana has been far from a joke.

Clark has changed the landscape of the WNBA in her first year in the league. However, the Fever have certainly benefited the most from her influence.

During the first half of the WNBA season, the Fever took part in the most-viewed game in the league in 23 years, competing against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky.

The Fever versus Sky matchup on Jun. 23 produced over 2.3 million viewers, making it the most viewed game of any network that the WNBA has seen in over two decades.

Clark has also shown out as an individual, currently leading the WNBA's Rookie of the Year debate. The first-year star is averaging 17.1 points and 8.2 assists per game.

She'll return to the court on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET against the Phoenix Mercury, where the Fever will look to pick up where they left off in a historic season for the franchise.
