Steph Curry went crazy in the Olympics. After struggling in the first four games of the tournament, the Golden State Warriors star turned it up in the final two games for Team USA. He dropped 60 points in two games, including a near-record 36 points in the semifinals against Serbia.

After the dust had settled, one of Curry's Warriors teammates revealed what the star told them before the Serbia game. Brandin Podziemski, the Warriors' prized rookie last season, revealed that he and a few of his friends had a chat with Steph before the Serbia game.

"I was [in Paris] for a couple games before [the Serbia game] at the time Steph was struggling," Podz said on the Willard and Dibs show. "It's actually crazy, he told me and my friends he's going to go off the next two games. He told us and he did it."

After scoring just 28 points in his first four games, Curry exploded in the semifinals and finals against Serbia and France. Against the Serbians, Curry scored 36 points while making nine triples to lead a 17-point comeback win.

In the gold medal game against France, Curry was once again brilliant. The Warriors star scored 24 points on eight three-pointers. That includes a ridiculous fourth-quarter stretch where he buried heat-check threes to close the door on the French comeback.

His performance gave Team USA their fifth consecutive gold medal. For Curry, this is his only Olympic gold, having missed the last three teams due to various reasons.
