    What is Baker Mayfield's Kryptonite?

Baker Mayfield had an incredible first season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but that does not mean that he is not without his flaws.

In a recent article by John Kosko of PFF , he outlines what he thinks is each NFL quarterback's kryptonite. For Mayfield, he believes that his downfall is his inefficiency running the play action.

"One thing that typically helps out shorter and mid-tier quarterbacks is play action. It helps to define reads and open up passing lanes," Kosko writes. "This doesn’t seem to be the case for Mayfield, as his 66.4 play-action passing grade ranks second worst among returning starters. His 75.8 non-play action grade places 13th, which is, obviously, much better."

One reason that opposing defenses are not fooled by the Buccaneers running play action was their inefficiency on the ground this past season.

Starting running back Rachaad White averaged just 3.6 yards per carry, as most of his damage was done in the passing game. Now that the team has another threat on the ground in rookie Bucky Irving, it could take some pressure off of Mayfield.

If he can become more efficient with play action, then it could add another dimension to the Bucs' offense.
