    TV Still Craves Curry's Warriors

America can't get enough of Stephen Curry. Despite missing the 2024 playoffs and losing a crucial part of their dynasty run, the Golden State Warriors are box-office material. Including NBA TV games, the Warriors have 36 nationally televised contests. TNT wants all the Curry ball it can get before giving up its media rights.

The Warriors are coming off 46-36 games; although not a terrible season, the eighth-ranked offense couldn't shake the multiple distractions, costing them a chance to send Klay Thompson off with one last playoff game with the only NBA franchise for which he's played.

Nonetheless, Curry is worth the price of admission and more. The only teams in the 31-40 national television games are the Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, and the New York Knicks. Which team doesn't belong? All of the franchises above fit, but the Warriors don't.

Years ago, the dwindling years of the Carmelo Anthony Knicks era fit the description of a franchise blessed with a large market but cursed with a flawed roster.

However, although the Warriors missed the playoffs, they are an above-.500 team, even if the team will look different without Thompson.

Fans won't need to roll their eyes, though, as they did for the years of bad Lakers and Knicks teams forcing themselves on national TV. The Warriors have one of the best players in the world and can turn a team on its axis within a few possessions.

Even if the Warriors lose the majority of their national TV games, it's likely Curry will inject a high dose of entertainment nonetheless.
