Top Huskers O-line recruit to announce his commitment on Saturday

Saturday is the day Nebraska finds out if it has pulled off another massive recruiting win.

Five-star offensive tackle David Sanders Jr., who is rated as the top offensive lineman and best non-quarterback prospect in the entire Class of 2025 by 247Sports and many other recruiting services, trimmed the list of schools he’s considering to the top four earlier this summer.

Alongside Ohio State, Georgia and Tennessee, it was somewhat of a surprise to see Nebraska make that cut, but the Huskers have been rumored to be a serious contender for the highly touted lineman.

Nebraska’s 2025 class currently is rated 29th in the country by 247Sports, and the five-star’s addition could push them into the top 25.

Dear David, if you see this post, know that you can't go wrong when an entire state is pulling for your success, not just in football, but in life. Husker fans are indisputably the most loyal and hospitable as any in the nation. You can ask any player who has spent his entire college career here. He'll tell you. Former Huskers -- almost all alive today will invariably tell you playing football at Nebraska, making friends and achieving a goal of graduating with an academic degree were among the best years of their lives, something they dared not miss. If you decide to commit as a Husker, you will know tere will be fans welcoming you and your your family members and friends into their homes and inviting you to explore beautiful areas of the state you never would have imagined existed. Everywhere, you'll find Nebraskans who will laugh with you, cry with you -- if you need a shoulder -- and help you achieve your dreams. There's no place like Nebraska. So come on out.
