When one of your school alums is legendary golfer Tiger Woods, it opens up some unique opportunities for your current student-athletes. Stanford quarterbacks Ashton Daniels and Justin Lamson had the chance to feature in an advertisement for Sun Day Red, Woods' lifestyle brand.

Sun Day Red launched earlier this year, just over a month after Woods announced that he was parting ways with Nike following a 27-year relationship. Woods launched Sun Day Red under the umbrella of TaylorMade, one of the top brands in the golf world, but it's operating as its own stand-alone business.

Asked by host Erin Andrews why he chose to take on this project, Woods said, “It’s the right time. It’s the right time in my life. I’m no longer a kid anymore. I have kids, and this is an important transitional part of my life. I can have something that I can be proud of, a brand that I can be proud of going forward.”

Sun Day Red began selling apparel to consumers in the United States and Canada on May 1 at sundayred.com, and the training gear line was featured in this marketing campaign with Daniels and Lansom.

This advertising campaign marks the launch of the new "Training Collection" line. Prices aren't for the faint of heart, with a full-zip hoodie costing $250 on the website, but Woods will hope Daniels and Lansom can help market the products to Stanford football fans.
