ESPN ranks top 10 quarterbacks for 2024 season

Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers has a massive year ahead of him.

Ewers is viewed as one of the best players in the nation ahead of the 2024 college football season and has a great chance to lead the Longhorns to an SEC Championship and national title.

On top of that, Texas' signal caller is viewed as a favorite to take home the prestigious Heisman Trophy award. If the year goes as planned for Ewers, many NFL draft analysts believe he could emerge as the No. 1 quarterback prospect for the 2025 NFL Draft as well.

However, according to ESPN, Ewers enters the upcoming season as the No. 4 quarterback in the country. He trails only Georgia's Carson Beck, Oregon's Dillon Gabriel, and Alabama's Jalen Milroe.

Colorado's Shedeur Sanders, Kansas' Jalon Daniels, Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart, Arizona's Noah Fifita, Utah's Cam Rising, and Miami's Cam Ward each earned a spot on ESPN's ranking.

Ewers threw for 3,479 yards and 22 touchdowns to just six interceptions last season. He led Texas to a Big 12 Championship and its first-ever College Football Playoff berth.
