    Miami Marlins Look to Bounce Back Against New York Mets

    The Miami Marlins (45-77) do not have much left to play for this season. However, they can still play spoiler to their divisional rivals' playoff chances, and this weekend that means the New York Mets (63-59). After dropping game one of their weekend series on Friday, the Marlins look to bounce back on Saturday and force a rubber match.

    The Marlins will send Max Meyer (3-2, 5.20 ERA) to the mound on Saturday. In his last start, he allowed four earned runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out four in 6 1/3 innings. Saturday will be his first start against the Mets this season.

    Here is how the Marlins will line up on Saturday:

    The Mets will counter with Luis Severino (7-6, 4.17 ERA). In his last start, he allowed four earned runs on six hits and two walks while striking out eight in five innings. Saturday will be his fourth start against the Marlins this season.

    In his first three starts against the Marlins this season, Severino allowed a combined six earned runs on 15 hits and nine walks while striking out 12 in 18 2/3 innings.

    How to Watch

    The first pitch for Saturday's game is scheduled for 4:10 PM EST. The game will be broadcast on SNY and Bally Sports Florida.
