Falcons Kicker Shocks Fans With Huge Open-Field Tackle

Younghoe Koo can do it all.

The Atlanta Falcons kicker saved a potential touchdown to start things off in the team's Week 2 preseason matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.

Ravens running back Chris Collier took the opening kickoff 30 yards before being tangled up at the BLT 34 by Koo.

The NFL's new kickoff rules have certainly made the game more interesting, albeit precarious for players. While the tackle was impressive from Koo on Saturday, the Falcons don't want to see this become a trend moving forward out of their starting FG and extra-point man.

There's a long season ahead, and they are going to need him.

The Falcons couldn't get much going on the offensive side of things. Koo connected on a 54-yard field goal in the first quarter, and a 24-yarder in the third to keep them in the game. Despite a late touchdown run from Jase McClellan with 36 seconds left, Atlanta lost their second consecutive preseason game 13-12.

They are back home in Week 3 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, where Koo should continue to get some quality kicks in once again.
