Simone Biles Fans React to Gymnast Being Spotted in Walking Boot

After departing the 2024 Paris Olympics with three gold medals, gymnastics superstar Simone Biles is now back in the U.S. watching her husband Jonathan Owens, and his Chicago Bears squad.

However, she could be seen sporting a couple of unexpected accessories at the Bears' Saturday preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Soldier Field. Some fans were caught up in her custom Packers jacket to support her husband who had previously played for Green Bay before signing with Chicago, but others noticed that the 11-time Olympic medalist had a walking boot on her left foot.

While many expressed concern, others are recognizing just how special her Olympic performance was considering she is still in a boot around a couple of weeks after her final event.

One fan wrote , "Simone Biles really did power thru an injury to bring home a gold 🥇 . The 🐐".

Another added, "She has on a boot. So she competed and won with a serious injury?!?! Amazing!!!!."

While fans may have forgotten or not noticed, Biles did strain her calf during warmups of her floor routine prior to her events in Paris. The 27-year-old ended up getting her leg taped from her ankle to the middle of her calf, and it was confirmed via audio from the broadcast it was the one she had hurt prior to the Olympics.

“As soon as I took off, I felt it," Biles said per The Athletic . " It’s right there on my calf. Right where I had that f-ing tear.’’

She was also wearing a walking boot during the closing ceremony but based on an interview with Today , the boot is "precautionary."

“Calf is good," Biles said when asked about the injury. "It’s just precautionary, making sure, because we still have tour after this to heal up and all of that stuff. So, just a little bit of soreness.”

Certainly a relief for gymnastics fans everywhere. Biles and fellow gymnasts are set to go on the "Gold Over America Tour this fall, which will see them perform in 30 arenas across the United States.

As for how her Husband and his team did on Saturday, they trounced the Bengals 27-3 with Owens finishing with four total tackles.
