Brian Thomas Jr. made his preseason debut and did not disappoint. Tonight he’s looking to take another step forward vs Tampa Bay.

Thomas had a 41 yard catch in his NFL debut. As he caught the ball one handed, his entire sideline erupted in cheers for the rookie.

While it was an amazing moment, the rookie wide receiver is keeping it all in perspective. He talked about the catch and how he's feeling heading into game two.

On if anything surprised him going out against a different team

Brian: I mean, I wouldn't say anything surprised me. It's football. But just being able to finally go against a different team was very nice. Just the competition level as you go up each and every step gets harder and harder."

On how it felt to play his first game in the NFL

Brian: It felt great to be able to come out here. It's just something I dreamed of playing in the NFL, just to be able to get that first game out of the way, it felt great. There was a lot of excitement going into the game, but I mean, I had to control my emotions and stay focused. I feel like I did good. It was a great experience.
