Simone Biles Wardrobe Choice Turns Heads at Bears Preseason Game

Simone Biles is no stranger to having all eyes on her, but it wasn’t the 11-time gold medalist's gymnastics skills that had people talking at Saturday’s NFL preseason game between the Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Bengals.

Instead, it was her wardrobe choice. Biles, who was at the game to support her husband, Bears safety Jonathan Owens, made quite the impression by showing up in a Green Bay Packers jacket—a surprising move considering the fierce NFC North rivalry between the Packers and Bears.

Owens, who played for the Packers in 2023 before joining the Bears, married Biles that same year. While most might not see it as a big deal, Bears fans weren’t too pleased to see one of their most famous supporters carrying the G for Packers fans while in Chicago.

Biles must have caught wind of the reaction because she later posted a video on the NFL’s official X account giving a shoutout to Bears fans, notably no longer wearing the jacket.

Meanwhile, Owens put on a solid performance in front of his wife, recording four tackles (three solo) in the first half of the game.

For Bears fans, the night ended on a lighter note—Owens produced on the field and helped his team to a 27-3 win, and Biles showed her loyalty with a wardrobe switch.
