Caitlin Clark picked up right where she left off when the Indiana Fever resumed their 2024 WNBA season against the Phoenix Mercury on Friday night.

Clark finished the 98-89 Fever win with 29 points, coming just one point shy of her WNBA career high. The rookie sensation also notched 10 assists, marking yet another points-assists double-double.

In her masterful performance, Clark became the first rookie in WNBA history to record 450+ points and 200+ assists.

With this win, the Fever completed a 3-0 regular-season series sweep over all-time great guard Diana Taurasi and her Phoenix squad.

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson took to social media with his reaction to Clark's historic performance.

"Caitlin Clark 30 ball against Taurasi last night. I love it man, I love it," Wilson wrote on X.

Clark is averaging a league-leading 8.3 assists per game and currently sits at 223 assists for the season. The former Iowa basketball superstar is likely to break Ticha Penicheiro's all-time rookie assist record (225) during Sunday afternoon's matchup against the Seattle Storm.

Sunday's game will tipoff at 3:30 p.m. ET.
