Alabama just received some poor news on the recruiting trail Sunday after one prized Crimson Tide recruit de-committed and flipped to another SEC school.

On3s Hayes Fawcett posted the following report on Twitter, writing that top linebacker prospect Jaedon Harmon had made a sudden switch in his recruitment.

"BREAKING: Four-Star LB Jaedon Harmon has Flipped his Commitment from Alabama to Tennessee, he tells me," said Fawcett. "The 6’1 215 LB from Rome, GA had been Committed to the Crimson Tide since April."

According to On3s Industry Rankings, Harmon is the No. 16 linebacker in the 2025 class and the No. 168 overall player. He also rates as the No. 19 prospect out of the state of Georgia for his cycle, so the Vols are also taking a player out of Bulldog territory.

Alabama's loss is a massive gain for Josh Heupel and Tennessee. Meanwhile, Kalen DeBoer is certainly learning how harsh life on the recruiting trail can be in the SEC, as a rival school just swooped in to steal a four-star linebacker.
