Simone Biles is making her NFL allegiances clear -- though some Chicago Bears fans may still not be convinced.

The U.S. gymnastics star sparked controversy this weekend when she traveled to the Windy City to support her husband, Bears safety Jonathan Owens, and wore a curious outfit. Biles sported a jacket stylized with images of her husband, but the pictures showed him playing for his former team, the rival Green Bay Packers.

The outfit garnered some pushback from fans, but Biles has now made it clear that she's down with the Bears. The gymnast took to social media to share two images from the game, including one where she wore the jacket as she posed alongside her husband on the field.

"bear down," Biles wrote in the post on X .

Biles' post still sparked some strong responses from Bears fans, many of whom were not swayed by her statement. One fan told her to "change [the jacket] it asap or you will get booed at every single game."

"You should know better," the fan added.

"Wears a packers jacket," one person replied.

"BEAR DOWN WITH YOUR PACKER JACKET ON," another wrote, adding a series of laughing emoji.

Owens started his career with the Arizona Cardinals in 2018, but missed his rookie season after suffering an injury. He went on to play four seasons with the Houston Texans, where he met Biles, who lives and trains in Houston.

Owens signed with the Packers last season, then joined the Bears after hitting free agency this offseason.

Biles has been a fixture at his games, and Owens has also supported his wife. He was granted a leave from Bears' training camp so he could cheer on his wife at the Paris Olympics.
