Jaylen Brown's Unreal Workout After Team USA Snub Is Turning Heads

Many were surprised when Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown was not named to the roster of Team USA for the Paris Olympics. After all, he just won an NBA championship and was named Finals MVP.

When Kawhi Leonard begged off a few weeks before the tournament, many thought Brown was a shoo-in to replace the Los Angeles Clippers star. But alas, it was his Celtics teammate Derrick White who got the call.

While Brown didn't publicly comment on the matter, he posted a few cryptic tweets supposedly aimed at Team USA. There was also speculation that he got snubbed for his criticisms of Nike, which was Team USA's official outfitter.

With the issue now on the back burner, the 27-year-old Brown is fully focusing on the upcoming NBA season. On Sunday, he shared on Instagram his insane underwater workout.

"Live your advice," Brown wrote in the caption.

His post instantly gained reactions, with former Celtics champion Kevin Garnett even hyping it up on X.

"Lord, @FCHWPO is under water with a dumbbell in one hand and a basketball in the other," he wrote. "Shyt, might be over for everybody."

Given his two-way abilities, Brown could've been a key contributor to Team USA. He's still looking for his first Olympic gold medal after also being left off the lineup for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

But in the meantime, he'll have to worry about defending their NBA title, and getting snubbed could be an added motivation for Brown.

Last season, he averaged 23.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and a career-high 3.6 assists per game and helped lead the Celtics to a league-best 64-18 record.
