Punter Goes Viral For Exposing Commanders' Demand To Delete His Video

    By Chris Licata,

Not many NFL fans know Drue Chrisman's name, but they might now.

On Sunday, August 18, the free agent punter posted a video of his recent try out for the Washington Commanders in which he documented his entire day. The 27-year-old did not receive a contract offer following the workout.

Now, the Commanders front office has taken exception to the video, which shows multiple areas inside the team's facilities and its player dining experience.

"No Fun League @Commanders" Chrisman captioned a screenshot of a text reading, "Drue, Just got call fr Commanders legal dept. pls take down all social media posts that show anything Commanders. TY"

The X post was viewed over 2.8 million times in its first six hours.

Chrisman also has not removed his original tryout day video from his Instagram or X accounts as of writing.
