Which OTs Will Browns Play vs. Seahawks? Stefanski Provides Major Update

Entering the preseason, offensive tackle was already a reason for concern for the Cleveland Browns as all three possible starters, Jedrick Wills Jr., Jack Conklin, and Dawand Jones, were recovering from injuries. However, it is even more dire now that they are heading into their preseason finale versus the Seattle Seahawks.

All three of the Browns' offensive tackles available in the 27-12 loss to the Minnesota Vikings left the game with injuries. Fans certainly held their breath for the news about the severity of those injuries, which finally came Sunday during Kevin Stefanski’s press conference.

However, as for the news itself, there is some good mixed with some bad. The good, Germain Ifeidi and James Hudson III , are not believed to have suffered serious injuries. Stefanski said Ifeidi should be “good to go,” while Hudson “will be back soon.” Then came the bad, as Hakeem Adeniji will be sidelined for “a little bit of time.”

Despite the mounting injuries, Stefanski does not share the fanbase's concern. He praised his offensive tackles for their continued hard work.

"We feel really good about the people we have in this building," Stefanski said. "We got guys that are working hard to get back and we'll just deal with it day to day."

While fans would have much rather found out that all three offensive tackles are healthy, having two come back seemingly immediately is good news. But what this means for starting quarterback Deshaun Watson’s scheduled preseason debut is still unclear if those plans will be changed.

The Browns will travel to Lumen Field to play the Seahawks, with kickoff at 10 p.m. EST.
