There are 12 days before Miami takes on Florida in The Swamp.

To help get everyone ready, the Hurricanes are going through fall camp and competing across the board. For fans, they get to see some of the action because of a video series called Canes Camp.

Props to the University of Miami's media team that put together the latest Canes Camp episode. It's a quality 12-minute video with insights from Mario Cristobal and several prominent coaches and players within the program.

The video features a scrimmage with big hits, receptions, and runs that make football exciting. It doesn't give away formations and why would it before anyone thinks about that point. Still, it's a great way to see how everyone reacts to adversity and working through game situations.

There are moments when Jason Taylor coaches his defensive linemen hard by letting them know they must be ready for the next set of plays. Here's Taylor communicating with his defensive linemen.

"We got red zone, goal line, and scrimmage. We are only halfway done with practice. So if you're feeling sorry for yourself, suck it up. This is where we get better. Go respond. I don't want to hear it! I want to see it."

The video continues with passes from quarterback Cam Ward and connecting with Xavier Restrepo and other Canes. The defensive backs certainly earn respect with some plays, too. Redshirt freshman Robert Stafford makes a play on the football for a pass breakup, as one example.

After all the hard-hitting and getting after each other, Miami is still a football family. There are clips of Miami's meal after the practice. It's a rare look at how a football team interacts away from the gridiron. It's pretty cool. Then the video goes to Anez Cooper discussing the competition while practice video rolls along.

"I think the competition has been good," Cooper began. "Going against guys like Simeon Barrow , C.J. Clark , Ahmad Mouten , Rueben Bain , and all those guys, I think the competition is like what it is supposed to be."

Speaking of Bain, he also chimes in about how it's a serious competition.

"We have moments in practice where, we go back and forth. We may not like each other while we are between those lines. That's what coach Cristobal wants. That's what makes you better at the end of the day."

There's also some perspective about the new faces entering The U. Players like defensive end Cole McConathy and cornerback Romanas "OJ" Frederique give some of their insights about trying to work up the depth chart and the players that they look up to.

One of the players many Miami fans are excited to see would be wide receiver Sam Brown , the transfer from Houston. He shows himself as a confident player while on the field in the video, as well as when being interviewed.

"The guys have been working me pretty well. "X ( Xavier Restrepo ), JG ( Jacolby George ), Zay ( Isaiah Horton ), it's been real working with them. They've been treating me like a guy they recruited from Day 1."

Toward the end of the video, there are several players and coaches discussing how it is to practice in the South Florida heat. It's a part of getting through fall camp. Linebacker Wesley Bissainthe discusses it.

"The heat plays a big role, but it ain't too much to handle. At the end of the day, you've got to be ready to play in the heat."

Overall, it's a great video so give it a look. Just click on it below.
