NBA Icon Applauds Angel Reese After Incredible Performance

NBA Icon Kevin Garnett brought some serious praise to social media on Monday in support of Angel Reese after her epic performance Sunday night for the Chicago Sky .

"Yup… I see it. @Reese10Angel got an elite 2nd jump on the glass like @matrix31 20 boards and damn near 20 points? The face-up game looked legit last night too," Garnett said via X.

Garnett drew a comparison to NBA legend Shawn Marion for her elite second jump towards the glass as a rebounder. He also highlighted the progress in her development and tagged Sky head coach and former player Teresa Weatherspoon .

Despite the Sky's second straight loss after the Olympic hiatus, Reese finished the game with 19 points and 20 rebounds. She is now the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 20 double-doubles.

She is also the first player to record 300+ rebounds in her first 25 games, which she accomplished earlier last week. Sometimes she gets lost in the shadow of Caitlin Clark , but Reese has arrived too. An incredible season for the LSU product, and she has shown no signs of slowing down.
