Pat McAfee has become one of the most popular figures in the world of sports media over the past few years, and he recently announced that he will be returning for his third season on ESPN's popular College GameDay program.

Despite his excitement, fans aren't as pleased with McAfee's presence, as a recent poll conducted by The Athletic noted that nearly 50 percent of fans didn't want the former NFL punter back on the show.

McAfee has heard those complaints, and he doesn't seem to like them all that much. He recently went back and forth with several fans on social media who were complaining that he will be a part of the program for a third straight year.

McAfee is certainly a divisive figure, and while some fans love him, others like the ones he responded to here aren't as fond of him.

Regardless, he's certainly an entertaining figure who knows how to get fans fired up for college football, and that's precisely what ESPN will be looking for him to do.

So while some folks aren't too thrilled with this news, it doesn't seem like McAfee cares, and it's safe to say he is anxiously awaiting the return of college football just like everyone else.
