Simone Biles Sends Message on Not Attending All of Her Husband's NFL Games

Simone Biles, who won three gold and one silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, returned to America as the nation's most-decorated gymnast of all time. Helping keep Biles grounded throughout the international competition, knowing that her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens, was there in person cheering her on.

Biles reciprocated the love during the Bears' second preseason game at Soldier Field on August 17, proudly supporting her husband as his team took on the Cincinnati Bengals. While fans were excited to see Biles yelling, "Bear down!" at every game this season, due to scheduling conflicts, that won't be possible.

The seven-time gold medalist revealed in a "Getting Ready With Me" video on TikTok that her attendance may be few and far between.

"I’m not sure how many games I’ll be able to make because in a few weeks, we go on tour. If you guys aren’t aware, I host the Gold Over America Tour," Biles said.

Biles should be able to attend the Bears' home opener against the Tennessee Titans on September 8, as the Gold Over America Tour, aptly nicknamed the "The GOAT," doesn't kick off until September 16. The highly-anticipated tour, which also features Team USA stars Jade Carey, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, and Hezly Rivera, runs through November 3. They are performing over 30 shows across 30 cities in that time span.

While Biles is thrilled over her Olympic success, the 27-year-old also shared a statement on the downside of fame.

In her GRWM video, Biles also recalled how after the closing ceremonies in Paris, they went to a club to celebrate during which they attempted to sell her a $26,000 bottle of champagne. "Obviously, I didn't buy it. But why would even try to play me like that," Biles said.

"Sometimes... the attention. I’d rather not have it," she said. "I’d rather be as normal as possible. I don’t know."
