A rival NFC North wide receiver appeared on Detroit Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown's podcast and talked about the hardest hit he's ever endured in his career.

Minnesota Vikings safety Camryn Bynum was credited with the massive hit, which happened in a game against the Chicago Bears on Oct. 15, 2023 at Soldier Field.

"What's the hardest hit you've ever taken?" St. Brown asked DJ Moore on the St. Brown Podcast .

"This past year, dude 24 [Camryn Bynum] from the Vikings... No homo, he blew my... he hit the crap out my back, like, my back was hurting. Like for real," Moore responded.

"What'd he do to your back?" St. Brown asked.

"He ran through my back," Moore said, as St. Brown laughed at his response, saying "he said he blew my back out."

"Yeah, he blew my back out and I was like, dawg," Moore said.

The Bears wideout said he was running a seam route over the middle, turned around to leap up for a catch, and Bynum "came out of nowhere."

"I thought I had a clean catch. He said, BOOM. I said, OOOHHH. I was like... my whole face showed on the screen and I was like dawg, I gotta get out," Moore recalled.

Bynum popped Moore mid-air, timing the hit perfectly. Moore still made the catch, as the four-time, 1,000-yard receiver doesn't drop many balls that come his way.

Last season was Bynum’s second full year as a starter in Minnesota. Pro Football Focus graded him as the 21st-best safety in the NFL, giving him a 73.2 overall grade, a 56.1 pass-rush grade (66th), a 69.7 coverage grade (30th) and a 79.1 run defense grade (16th).

In the past two seasons among NFL defensive backs, he ranks fifth in total tackles (134).

Bynum and Moore will face off twice more this season, as the Vikings travel to Soldier Field on Nov. 24 and the Bears travel to U.S. Bank Stadium on Dec. 16.
