Deshaun Watson is expected to play in the Cleveland Browns' final preseason matchup this weekend against the Seahawks in Seattle at 10 p.m. ET on Saturday.

Watson, the three-time NFL Pro Bowler, has aspirations of leading the Browns back to the playoffs and beyond after missing last year's second season following a fracture in his throwing shoulder.

The ex-Clemson Tigers and Houston Texans star spoke with Browns reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala recently, during which he revealed the Tom Brady focused reason for one of his big 2024-2025 season goals.

Watson has played just six games in the last two seasons but is targeting the Browns' September 8, Week One home game at the Dawg Pound in Cleveland for his return.

The game is expected to be seven-time NFL Pro Bowler Tom Brady's first in the broadcast booth with Fox Sports after his retirement in February, 2023.

"It's set in stone," Watson said about coming back for Week One.

"It's something you think about each and every day. The Dawg Pound and the stadium will be rocking. Tom Brady is calling the game. You can't get any better than that to start off the season."

Watson's latest goal was revealed as Browns running back and four-time Pro Bowler Nick Chubb revealed he does not have a timetable for his return to the field.

"I do not (have a return date in mind," Chubb said. "One day at a time. Just working on getting faster and stronger every day."
