With the 2024 NFL season set to kick off on September 5, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith named the quarterback under 25 years old that he most trusts to lead their team to the Super Bowl.

Approximately one-third of the league's starting quarterbacks are 25 or younger. Some of the biggest names include:

    • Drake Maye - 21
    • J.J. McCarthy - 21
    • Anthony Richardson - 22
    • C.J. Stroud - 22
    • Bryce Young - 23
    • Jayden Daniels - 23
    • Trevor Lawrence - 24
    • Brock Purdy - 24
    • Michael Penix Jr. - 24
    • Bo Nix - 24
    • Jordan Love - 25
    • Will Levis - 25
    • Justin Fields - 25

Each player entered the league with varying levels of experience. Some played longer in college, leading them to join the NFL at an older age. Others joined the NFL younger, kickstarting their careers earlier. Nonetheless, Stephen A. selected the man who has already proven himself in some crucial situations.

On Tuesday's August 20 episode of "First Take," he confidently stated that Jordan Love, the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, is his pick.

After spending two years behind Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay, Love was outstanding in the second half of his first season as a starter.

He passed for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while leading the Packers to an unexpected Wild Card Round playoff victory in Dallas against the Cowboys.

Love will make his regular-season debut on Friday, September 6, against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil.
