Jameson Williams Displays Jaw-Dropping Route Running In Practice

    By Cole Sullivan,

Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams is entering a massive season, and he looks as good as advertised during training camp after displaying elite route running leading to a touchdown reception during practice.

Williams' journey has been an interesting one, to say the least. He was drafted by the Lions in 2022 but entered the NFL injured with a torn ACL, so he only appeared in six games.

Then he was suspended to start the 2023 season for breaking the NFL's gambling policy . But finished the year strong. Entering 2024, he's healthy, smarter, faster, and expected to play a vital role for a Lions team with Super Bowl aspirations, and his slick route running is turning heads.

Williams has always had the speed. In college, he usually banked on beating the defense by go route's and being faster than the opposition. But his game is ascending.

Developing his play style in all those crucial areas, especially his route running, will be what takes Williams to the next level as a player in this offense because his pure speed is second to none.
