Angel Reese Makes Waves With Bold Statement Following Michelle Obama's DNC Speech

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese isn't afraid to sound off on her opinions. Especially when it comes to social media, and she did just that last night after Obama's speech at the Democratic National Convention took the internet by storm.

Reese has had an unreal rookie season with the Sky and is currently trying to lead them to the postseason, with just over 10 games remaining. Regardless, there comes a time when things are more important than sports and basketball, and this happened to be one of those times, and Reese made sure she was heard.

"MICHELLE SAID WHAT SHE SAID!" Reese posted on X

By the timeline of the post and the comments surrounding it, this comes in response to when Obama altered the presidency to being a "black job," which is a comment former President Donald Trump made weeks ago.

"Who's gonna tell him the job he is currently seeking might just be one of those Black jobs?" Obama said.

In support of Vice President Kamala Harris , Michelle and her husband, former President Barack Obama , came to the defense of Harris, and now we see where Angel Reese's opinions lie, and she isn't afraid to share them.

On the season, Reese is currently gunning for rookie of the year against Caitlin Clark and has become the fastest player to 20 double-doubles in WNBA history. Reese is averaging 13.6 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.4 steals.

She has been better than displayed all season, and athletes become influential when they speak up about the things they believe in, which is exactly what Reese continues to do.
