The Big Ten is the biggest it's ever been, housing 18 teams thanks to their four additions from the fallen Pac-12, which is why Dan Mullen believes a slew of teams can take the crown.

Mullen, a former Mississippi State and Florida head football coach, and now an ESPN analyst, posted his season-long predictions for the Big Ten on Wednesday, predicting the conference champ and title game matchup at the end.

"I think there are 5 teams that could make it to the title game this year in the Big Ten," Mullen wrote on Twitter before issuing his title game prediction.

Those five teams? According to his standings, the top five finishers in the league will be Ohio State, Penn State, Oregon, Iowa and Michigan. He has the Buckeyes meeting the Nittany Lions in the title game for a spot to go to the College Football Playoff.

To win it all in year one of the new-era goliath Big Ten, Dan Mullen has preseason AP No. 2 Ohio State defeating Penn State to book their trip back to the CFP. PSU, on the other hand, is currently the second-highest rated Big Ten team in the AP poll, opening at No. 8, just ahead of Michigan at No. 9.
