Caitlin Clark is breaking WNBA records and attracting wide attention to the league in her rookie season.

The Indiana Fever believe Clark is in line for another top honor.

The team shared a post on social media praising Clark for the assist records she has set this season. The former Iowa guard set a WNBA record by recording 19 assists in a loss to the Dallas Wings on July 17 and has already set the franchise mark for total assists, with 232 through the first 28 games of the season.

Clark also shined in the league's biggest showcase, setting an All-Star Game rookie record with 10 assists.

In their post praising the accomplishments, the Fever predicted another award is on the way for Clark.

The team called Clark "our rookie of the year," noting her place as frontrunner for the award. The post brought some big reactions from fans, with many agreeing that she has the honor locked up.

"ROTY no doubts," one fan shared.

Others believed that Clark could be headed for an even bigger honor.

"Shoot higher, She is in the MVP race," one fan wrote.

Clark has been seen as the odds-on favorite for the WNBA Rookie of the Year award, ranking above fellow rookie star Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky.
