    Philadelphia Phillies Look to Snap Losing Streak on Wednesday

    After losing game one of this three-game series, the Philadelphia Phillies (73-52) are once again on a losing streak, albeit only a two-game one. They look to snap that streak before it grows larger in game two on Wednesday against the Atlanta Braves (67-58).

    The Phillies will send Aaron Nola (11-6, 3.45 ERA) to the mound. In his last start, he allowed no earned runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out four in 6 2/3 innings. Wednesday will mark Nola's third start against the Braves this season.

    In his first two starts against the Braves this season, Nola allowed a combined nine earned runs on 16 hits and one walk while striking out 11 in 10 1/3 innings.

    The Braves will counter with Max Fried (7-7, 3.62 ERA). In his last start, he allowed three earned runs on five hits and three walks while striking out five in 5 1/3 innings. Wednesday will mark Fried's third start against the Phillies this season.

    In his first two starts against the Phillies this season, Fried allowed a combined eight earned runs on 13 hits and four walks while striking out five in 6 2/3 innings.
