According to Eurohoops.net , two former Los Angeles Lakers players, Sterling Brown and Isaac Bonga, have signed contracts to play for Partizan Belgrade in Serbia. This move comes as the Serbian team finalizes its roster for the upcoming season, which features several former NBA players.

Bonga was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2018 NBA Draft as the 39th overall pick, but his rights were held by the Lakers. He signed a rookie contract and spent time with the South Bay Lakers in the G League before making his NBA debut in December 2018. During his time with the Lakers, he played 22 games, averaging 0.9 points, 0.7 assists, and 1.1 rebounds per game. After a brief stint, he was traded to the Washington Wizards in the 2019 offseason and later played for the Toronto Raptors. His last NBA appearance was in 2022. Recently, he represented Germany in the Summer Games in Paris, where he had a standout performance against Brazil.

Brown joined the Lakers in January 2023 on a ten-day contract but only played in four games, averaging 2.0 rebounds and 0.5 assists. Following his time with the Lakers, he returned to the G League with Raptors 905. He then signed with Alba Berlin in Germany before making the move to Serbia. Brown has previously played for the Milwaukee Bucks, Houston Rockets, and Dallas Mavericks. In his first EuroLeague season, he averaged 11.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. He is expected to sign a two-year deal with Partizan, coached by the renowned Zeljko Obradovic.
