Joel Klatt Officially Predicts 2024 College Football Playoff Bracket

Fox Sports broadcaster and college football analyst Joel Klatt has officially filled out his 2024 College Football Playoff bracket with his predictions prior to the 2024 season.
Predicting a 12-team playoff field is quite a bit more work than the old four-team format, three times in fact, which provides for a much wider array of possibilities once the field is whittled down to just the four-team semifinal round later this winter. For Joel Klatt, that meant some March Madness-style pandemonium throughout the bracket.
As laid out on his YouTube show , here was Joel Klatt's full 12-team field as well as his selections in every single round, including the championship game:
(Seed)
First Round
(5) Notre Dame > (12) Boise State (6) Texas > (11) Michigan (7) Oregon > (10) Alabama (8) Penn State > (9) Ole Miss
Quarterfinals
(2) Georgia > (7) Oregon (1) Ohio State > (8) Penn State (6) Texas > (3) Utah (5) Notre Dame > (4) Miami
Klatt's field isn't terribly surprising. Sure, Miami and Utah are somewhat intriguing picks, but then again, they're about as deserving as any other Big 12 or ACC team, and we know we're getting one squad from each of those leagues.
But in the semifinals, Klatt gets down to business and leaves Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas and Georgia, with the Longhorns coming out as the sacrificial lamb to Ohio State, who Klatt has No. 1 in the preseason, No. 1 in the playoff and as national champions in 2024-25.
