One of the biggest offseason additions for Alabama this year was former Miami OH kicker Graham Nicholson. The first Mid-American Conference (MAC) kicker to ever win the Lou Groza Award, Nicholson converted on 26 of his 27 field goal attempts and 35 of his 36 PATs.

However, Miami OH head coach Chuck Martin didn't mince words regarding his belief that Alabama's recruitment of Nicholson was not above board. In an interview with Jed DeMuesy, a Miami OH media member, Martin revealed his feelings about Alabama landing Nicholson.

"We didn't lose him, he's at Alabama. We know exactly where he's at," Martin responded as DeMuesy asked him about the team's losses on special teams for this upcoming season.

"Alabama stole our kicker," Martin continued. "They illegally recruited our kicker and stole him from us. That's a fact, and that's college - we act like it's not. We live in this la-la world, like, hey, let's not talk reality. I don't know why. Everyone knows what's going on."

Nicholson was a preseason First-Team AP All-American selection earlier this month and could be the first back-to-back Lou Groza Award winner since Sebastian Janikowski in 1998 and 1999.

Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer is scheduled to speak to the media following Thursday morning's practice, and he'll surely be asked about this viral clip from Martin regarding Nicholson's transfer.
