UCLA Football News: Bruins Secure Commitment from 4-Star Edge Rusher Jewelous Walls

UCLA Football has made a significant addition to its roster, securing a commitment from three-star edge rusher Jewelous Walls from Northern California. This announcement comes as the Bruins continue to build their recruiting class under first-year head coach DeShaun Foster.

Walls, who played for the Pittsburg Pirates, joins his teammate, safety Jadyn Hudson, who committed to UCLA earlier this summer. The Bruins were the last school to offer Walls a scholarship, which he received just a few weeks ago.

“The coaching staff is unbelievable, their energy by far is unmatched.” Walls told BRO , “They recruited the heck out of me and off the trip I instantly was introduced to family members. They have chill vibes up in Los Angeles and their family feeling is real.”

Ranked as the No. 59 edge rusher nationally and the No. 64 prospect in California for the 2025 class, Walls had a solid offer list that included prominent programs like Oregon, USC, and Washington.

In his junior year, Walls recorded 86 tackles, 14 of which were for loss, including nine sacks. His sophomore season was even more impressive, with 99 tackles, 25 for loss, eight sacks, and four forced fumbles.
