Matthew Stafford has bounced back from a recent hamstring issue and is fully engaged in practice as the Rams gear up for the upcoming season. After leaving practice last week due to tightness in his hamstring, Stafford returned to the field this week without any setbacks.

During a joint practice with the Texans, Stafford participated in team drills and showed no signs of limitations. Head coach Sean McVay noted that Stafford had a productive day, emphasizing the importance of getting the work in while ensuring the team's overall safety during practice.

“It was a full day for him,” McVay said, via the team’s website. “It was good. We prefer him not to have to hand off backwards on a couple of those. But because of the progression, he wanted to get the work in, and and I thought really [the Texans’] overall etiquette in terms of staying away from him was really good. And I was pleased with the way that our line competed.”

As the Rams approach the start of the regular season, Stafford's recovery is a positive sign. Additionally, two other players, left guard Jonah Jackson and cornerback Darious Williams, are also making strides toward returning to full participation. Jackson is expected to join team drills next week, while Williams is set to increase his workload as the Rams prepare for Week One.
