Jordan Chiles Makes Decision On Next Gymnastics Event Amid Bronze Model Controversy

Jordan Chiles is currently on a social media hiatus amid the Olympic controversy she's involved in. Despite that, however, fans of the USA Gymnastics star should see her in public real soon.

The 23-year-old Olympian is part of the Gold Over America Tour that will traverse 30 cities from September to November. The tour is described as a "pop concert-style spectacle" that aims to showcase the "athletic brilliance and championship journeys" of Simone Biles, Chiles, Hezly Rivera, Jade Carey and several other Olympic gymnasts.

It's worth noting that at the time of writing, Chiles is still part of the crew, with her profile featured on the tour's website. For what it's worth, Suni Lee isn't in the lineup, while viral gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik (AKA Pommel Horse Guy) was recently removed from the cast as he joins Dancing With The Stars instead.

This development suggests that Chiles hasn't backed out and will continue with the tour. This is despite the fact that she and USA Gymnastics are currently appealing the 2024 Olympics bronze medal that was stripped from her due to a controversial ruling .

Chiles won gold in the all-around team event and a bronze in the floor exercise final of the 2024 Olympics. However, her third-place finish was voided after the Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled that their challenge to bump to get her to climb to third came over the one-minute deadline.

Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu has since been elevated to third and awarded a bronze medal. Nonetheless, Jordan Chiles has yet to return her medal, with the USA taking the issue to the Swiss Federal Tribunal to appeal the ruling from the Court of Arbitration.

It's unknown how long it will take for Chiles' appeal to be heard. For now, however, it seems she's ready to do the tour with Simone Biles and her fellow gymnasts.
