The New York Knicks made three picks in this year's NBA Draft, and one of their second-round picks could prove to be the best.

In a recent article by Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman , he picks seven rookies who are being overlooked and could surprise a lot of people this season. One of the players he lists is Knicks second-round pick Tyler Kolek, as he thinks he could get a lot of opportunities to back up Jalen Brunson.

"Kolek may have trouble blowing by or finishing. But the Knicks won't be calling on the rookie for scoring," Wasserman writes. "He'll leave his mark on games with playmaking, setting up shooters and finishers off pick-and-rolls and penetration."

The Knicks selected Kolek in the second round with the 34th overall pick in the draft. That was lower than most thought he would go, as he was one of, if not the best passer in all of college basketball this past season.

He averaged 15 points, five rebounds, and just under eight assists per game in his senior season at Marquette. He also shot just under 50 percent from the field and 38 percent from beyond the arc.

The Knicks will be able to use him in multiple ways, as he could be either a primary ball-handler, or he could be a spot-up shooter. This versatility could lead him to get a lot of opportunities and surprise a lot of people in his rookie year.
