Bucs Stars Left Off Best Receiver Duo List

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were able to make it to the playoffs and past the Wild Card round this past season, and a lot of that was due to the great play of their two star receivers.

In a recent article by Cody Benjamin of CBS Sports , he ranks who he believes are the top 10 wide receiver duos in the NFL. But shockingly, he has the Bucs iconic receiver duo of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin the honorable mentions section.

"Like the Seahawks, these guys are top-level when operating at full speed," Benjamin writes. "Evans, in particular, is as steady as they come on a year-to-year basis. Age and durability are fair concerns overall, however."

Evans and Godwin may be 31 and 28 years old, respectively, but that did not slow them down at all this past season.

They both appeared in all 17 games for the Bucs, and they had a combined 16 touchdowns and 2,279 receiving yards. Both had over 1000 yards this past season, which marks the third year in a row for Godwin, and an absurd 10th year in a row for Evans.

The duo will be looking to prove this list wrong and help the Buccaneers put together another playoff run this season.
