Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic has been known to have his immediate family attend his games from time to time. This includes his two older brothers, Nemanja and Strahinja, who have both earned quite a reputation for themselves.

Right now, it's Strahinja, who is facing some legal trouble following a viral incident during a game back in April against the Los Angeles Lakers. A video of Strahinja blew up online after he was seen punching a man in the face following a heated altercation.

Below is the incident in question, which, unsurprisingly, immediately went viral on social media as soon as it was posted.

According to a report by Shelly Bradbury of The Denver Post, Jokic's brother appeared in Denver County Court on Wednesday to answer to a misdemeanor assault charge.

"Strahinja Jokic, 42, was charged with third-degree assault after a video went viral on social media that appeared to show him punching a man in the face courtside at Denver’s Ball Arena during a game against the Los Angeles Lakers," Bradbury wrote.

"The punch followed a 'verbal exchange,' police wrote in an affidavit. The fan who was punched spoke with police three days after the April 22 game. He suffered a concussion and cuts and bruises on his face. The fan initially did not want to press charges but later changed his mind, police said."

The report also claims that Strahinja, who told police that he was merely defending a friend, had a protection order placed against him which requires him to stay away from the complainant.

Strahinja has been ordered to return to court to enter a plea in October.
