Alabama Football Sends Heartwarming Message To Nick Saban Ahead Of His College GameDay Debut

After coaching, structuring, and rejuvenating the Alabama football program over the last 17 seasons, The legendary Nick Saban is set to make his College GameDay debut for ESPN ahead of Saturday’s Week Zero matchup between Florida State and Georgia Tech .

Over Saban's 17 years coaching the Crimson Tide, he managed to win a staggering six national championships and send 133 of his players to the NFL . 47 of them were first-rounders. His impact on not only the football field and college football, but the lives of so many players are everlasting.

“It’s been our goal as a program to always give our players the best opportunity to be successful, whether it’s personally, academically, or athletically.” Saban once said.

Now, in his next endeavor in the college football landscape, Alabama Football made sure to send him well wishes ahead of his debut this weekend.

Alabama now looks forward to the next chapter of their program after Saban endorsed former Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer to be the program's next head coach.

The Crimson Tide open the season with two winnable games and then face Big Ten's Wisconsin and then have a massive Week 4 matchup in Tuscaloosa, which will be DeBoer's first real SEC test against the Georgia Bulldogs . Setting the scene for a spectacular game, that I'm sure Saban will be attendance for with the GameDay crew.
